| Web-Enabled Mobile Phones |
In order to access a wireless application from a cell phone, the cell phone has to be web enabled. A web-enabled cell phone typically has a built-in mini-browser, sometimes called a micro-browser, which is capable of loading a web page corresponding to a URL. You can log on by going to mobile.dcu.org. You don't have to include the http:// or https://. That's automatic and saves typing. You can also bookmark the address on the device to avoid having to enter it again later. Enter the same member number and password you use on PC Branch. They are exactly the same. If you change your PC Branch password, it changes for wireless access automatically.
Once you have a web-enabled cell phone, you need to invoke the mini-browser, and pick the option that allows you to enter a URL and then bookmark it. Some carriers also let you enter a bookmark from their web site, via their online services. This procedure varies for each type of cell phone , and is usually described in the cell phone manual. Please reference your carrier's web site for more specific information.

Access from Palm OS PDAs
Palm OS (operating system) powers a number of PDAs, primarily the Palm series, Sony Clie and the Handspring series.
In order to access a wireless application from a Palm OS PDA, the device has to have a wireless connection. For Palm Vx devices, you need to activate a wireless service from service providers such as EarthLink Wireless.
Alternatively, you can use a phone modem accessory supplied from Palm, Inc., to connect the Palm OS device with your mobile phone and dial out to an ISP.
Once your Palm OS device is connected wirelessly, you can access wireless applications from an online browser on the Palm OS device.
Using a Palm OS Browser
There are several browsers available for Palm OS devices, such as the AvantGo, which is available free of charge from the AvantGo website and works on the PalmVx. If using the AvantGo browser, tap the menu option and select Open Page. You can enter a URL from the resulting page. Bookmarking sites using the AvantGo browser has to be done from the AvantGo web site (avantgo.com/frontdoor/index.html). Contact your device manufacturer to find out what browsers are available for your specific device.
